Community nominated - Carol was named finalist in July 2022 for her volunteer work in disability swimming. The 2022 winner will be announced in September!
NEWS: WaterWombats Supported by Gungahlin Village grant!

The WaterWombats team are excited to announce that we are winners of the Gungahlin Village KickStart grant. We would like to extend much gratitude and thanks to Gungahlin Village for their belief in our programs and goals to creating safer and more inclusive aquatic recreation programs in the ACT for children of all abilities.
The grant will be used to start the scholarship program for disadvantaged children to learn to be safe around water, and to continue to develop our service offering to the Canberra community.

WaterWombats are extremely excited to announce ActewAGL has supported the AquaExercise program through their recent Community Grant Funding initiative! Thank you ActewAGL - this funding will be used to develop and pilot the program in term 4, 2022
