Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy (PACT) is a specialised, evidence-based intervention designed for children with autism, including those who are preverbal, nonverbal, or experiencing social-communication delays. The program centres on empowering parents and carers through the use of targeted video feedback, helping them to recognise and respond to their child’s unique communication strengths.
Rather than relying solely on clinical sessions, PACT supports families to embed personalised strategies into everyday routines and interactions—creating meaningful, lasting improvements in communication, connection, and emotional engagement. It’s a quiet space where parents and carers can talk with a trained counsellor about anything that’s on their mind — like behaviour, stress, relationships, or getting help through the NDIS or school.
What to expect:
You can chat with a counsellor during or after your child’s session
It’s informal and welcoming — no need for a referral
You can choose to meet in a quieter space nearby if you prefer
We support families dealing with disability, trauma, or tough life situations
It’s not a crisis service, but it’s a good place to start if you need support
We’re here to listen and help in a way that feels safe and respectful. Just let us know if you’d like to talk when coming to session or register your interest from the link below.
